Freya North,
Author & Novelist

Freya North is the author of 16 bestselling novels including the RNA Novel of the Year 2008 "Pillow Talk", Richard & Judy Book Club pick "Little Wing" (2022) and 2024's highly acclaimed "The Unfinished Business of Eadie Browne". She has recently completed her 17th novel, "Still Time". A sense of place and the emotional complexities of everyday family life are central to her work. Freya is Patron of the Society of Women Writers & Journalists as well as Refuge in Literacy UK. She he has judged literary competitions including the Costa Book Awards and is a popular tutor at creative writing workshops. Freya also edits and produces "The Book Lover’s Journal" each year, which raises funds for BookTrust.

In November 2025, she will self-publish "Christmas at Flora's House", the first of a series of novellas set in the Outer Hebrides. Freya lives on a small farm in Hertfordshire.
