Literacy takes you out of refuge.

It feeds hearts, It changes minds, It grows lives.

Pilot Refuges Supporting Refuge In Literacy UK

Our Pilot Refuges Across the United Kingdom

Refuge In Literacy UK is grateful to be connected with a growing group of domestic violence refuges that help us shape thoughtful and long-term literacy support for children, young people, and families. As a non-profit organisation, we rely on the insight and partnership of these refuges to ensure our resources are sensitive, meaningful, and appropriate for the realities of refuge life.

Each pilot refuge plays an important part in helping us understand what feels supportive and empowering for the communities they serve. Their experience guides how we refine our literacy prompts and develop the most helpful approaches for families.
